Clarissa’s background in journalism and marketing brings a rare balance of editorial depth and strategic focus to her work. Known for her thoughtful, concierge-inspired approach, she helps teams stay aligned and produce measurable results that support broader business goals.

Prior to launching By Clarissa, she served on the executive leadership team at an award-winning marketing agency, where she led the ground-up expansion of content operations ahead of an acquisition.
As a freelance writer and editor-at-large, Clarissa has contributed more than 3,000 pieces to leading international media companies across print and digital. Her reporting has taken her around the world, securing interviews with high-profile figures like billionaire Richard Branson, Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges, and NBA star Dwyane Wade. She also served as the youngest restaurant critic for one of Voice Media Group’s largest publications, Miami New Times.
